April 7, 2021 at 4:30 PM

More than 65 years after the Supreme Court’s decision in Brown instructed school systems to integrate “with all deliberate speed,” Winston Salem / Forsyth County Schools are widely recognized as segregated, a circumstance that exacerbates unequal opportunities between Black, Latinx, and white students; poor and wealthy students. This panel of experts will share what they have learned in their careers studying student assignment and school choice, documenting segregation’s harms, and working to integrate school systems around the country. Featuring Dr. Erica Frankenberg, Dr. Stefan Lallinger, and Mohammed Choudhury. Listen to a recording of this event here.
