- Elizabeth Cannon, “Reconciling Gender Inequalities in Argentina and Chile: The Role of Female Executives in Promoting Women’s Rights.” Elizabeth received a Fulbright scholarship and will teach English in South Korea.
- Justin Cradit, “The Election of Islamist Parties in the Middle East and North Africa: Cases of Turkey’s Justice and Development Party and Tunisia’s Ennahda Movement.” Justin plans to pursue a career in the field of democracy promotion and human rights. His future plans also involve graduate studies in international relations.
- Cleo Johnson, “Communicating Cohesion: Competing Narratives of Tribal Legitimacy in the Quest for Lumbee Federal Recognition.” Cleo will be working in a management position in Chicago.
- Meenakshi Krishnan, “Democracies at Risk: Divergent Approaches to Press Violence in Colombia and Mexico.” Meenu will be enrolled in the MPhil Program in International Relations and Politics at the University of Cambridge, UK.
- Kenneth Meyer, “Spring is for Parties: A Comparative Perspective on the Egyptian Party System Before and After the Arab Spring.” Ken will be enrolled in the MPhil program in International Relations and Politics at the University of Cambridge, UK.
- Sara Olson, “Exploring Judicial Activism in Hybrid Regimes: A Comparative Study of Pakistan and Turkey.” Sara will teach English in Spain.

- Katherine Wycisk, “Bridging the Gap – People with Disabilities in Uganda.” Katherine is living outside Melbourne, Australia, and working as a fundraiser for Public Outreach while also continuing as volunteer co-director of Aid4Uganda.

- William McClure, “Cultural Factors for Spanish and British Decline and Lessons for Contemporary America.” William will work in AT&T corporate sales.
- Morgan Miller, “’¿Si somos argentinos o chilenos? … no tiene sentido esa pregunta’: The Question of Mapuche Transnationalism.” Morgan will work as an analyst in the Fixed Income Division of Credit Suisse in New York City.
- Matthew Moran, “Politics of Grandeur, Politics of Union: African Democratization and French Foreign Relations from Decolonization to European Union.” Matt will work for a public relations company in New York City.
- Nirali Parikh, “The Winner’s Curse: A Story of British Imperial Decline.”
- Alyssa Ray, “The Domino Effect: How the LDP Lost the 2009 Japanese Election.” After graduating in December 2011, Alyssa worked as an intern at the White House.
- Christopher Riccio, “Measuring the Effect of the Oil Curse on Democracy.” Chris plans to spend a year teaching high school students before going to medical school.

- Daniel Michael Capone, Propaganda and Racial Identity in Nazi Germany. Dan will be attending Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana to pursue a J.D. with a concentration in International Law.
- Carey Alice Carpenter, Revisiting Kennan’s Political Containment Theory to Counter Neo-Salafist Global Jihad. Carey will work as a Federal Analyst for Deloitte’s Federal Practice in Washington, DC.
- Caitlin Garrigan-Nass, Third Party Prospects: The Success of Independent and Third-Party Candidates in US Gubernatorial Elections. Caitlin was awarded a Fulbright Teaching Assistantship in France for 2011-12. Following her stay in France she will attend Law School at George Washington University.
- Kendall Hack, UNHCR: The Global “Fireman” (The Obstacles of Expansion). Kendall will work as a Wake Forest Fellow in the Office of the Provost. Afterward, she plans on attending graduate school in Foreign Policy or International Business.
- Chelsey JoAnn Kohler. International Regime Change: The United Kingdom’s Next Move.
- Randy John Paris, A Compass through the Storm: What Presidents tell us when Reality confronts the American Dream. Randy will be working as an Associate in the White House Presidential Personnel Office.

- Kerry Ann Bollerman, “Women and Democracy: An Evaluation of Their Success in Argentina.“ Kerry will work as a legislative analyst in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
- Megan L. Briskman, “The Challenges Facing the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Autonomy.” Megan will work as a paralegal in New York City and plans to attend Law School starting in 2011.
- Nick Deuschle, “What about the Prosecutor?: Federal Sentencing Practices in a Post-Booker World.” Nick was awarded the Jack D. Fleer Award for Excellence in Honors in Political Science. He plans to teach English in China before entering the University of Chicago Law School in 2011.
- Katherine Dydak, “Authoritarian Amnesties: The Return of Political Exiles to Dictatorships in the 20th Century.” Katherine won a Fulbright scholarship to teach English at a Russian University. She plans to attend graduate school to obtain a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning.
- Sarah Gabriel, “United States and European Union Civil Society Promotion in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine: The Growing Potential for Change.” Beginning in July 2010, Sarah will attend the year-long MA in Management Honors Programs at the Wake Forest Schools of Business. Her goal is to attend Law School the following year.
- Monica Giannone, “Civil Society in an Authoritarian State: The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.”Monica is still waiting to hear whether she will be awarded a Fulbright scholarship to teach English at an Egyptian University.
- Megan Huber, “Betrayal of the Innocents: An Examination of Children and Peacekeeping.” Megan won the Carl Moses Excellence in Research Award in Political Science and the Award for Outstanding Senior in International Studies. She will be teaching English in Malaysia as part of a Fulbright Teaching Assistantship. Afterward, she plans to attain a MA degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University.
- Monica Petrescu, “Ethnic Communities in Romania: Establishing Status through Organization.”Monica also graduated with honors in Economics. Monica plans to do service work before attending graduate school in Economics at Cambridge University (UK).
- Andrew Price, “Blackwater’s Nisour Square Incident in Iraq and the Effects on U.S. GovernmentRegulation and Private Security Company Accountability.” Andrew will attend graduate school in Public Policy at the University of Maryland (College Park).
- Zahir Rahman, “President Hamid Karzai: The Destruction of a Myth as illustrated in the 2009Afghanistan Presidential Election.” Zahir won the William C. and Ruth N. Archie Award and the C.H. Richards Award for Excellence in Political Science. Zahir will embark on a Fulbright scholarship in Morocco where he will study youth participation.
