We offer one of the largest majors on campus, with course offerings that span the globe. Our faculty members are active researchers who, through their teaching, seek to develop students who are critical thinkers and effective writers. Our classes attract many students but, in keeping with Wake Forest tradition, we keep our class sizes small. Introductory classes typically enroll no more than 30 students; upper-level classes usually have 20-25 students; seminars are limited to no more than 16 students. We pride ourselves in the individual attention we give to our students. Motivated and qualified students have opportunities to assist and collaborate with faculty members in research projects and/or engage in independent research projects. Our majors go on to work in government, business, law, policy, and non-profits, both here and abroad.
This website is designed to help you find out more about our course offerings, our faculty and their interests, our students, and our alumni. We hope you find what you are looking for. If not, please feel free to contact us.
